Menu Ideas with Grocery List

Another obsession I have is planning menus and cooking new recipes.  I LOVE THIS COOKBOOK! Front Cover
There are very few recipes in this book that my family doesn't absolutely love............check out how much I have used mine!
You can find the recipes in her book on this site: http://www.byutv.org/foodnanny/plan/
(The chicken tacos are To Die For!!)

I just did  a quick menu to get some last minute groceries tonight, but here is a list to help you out with ideas for the next couple of weeks.  I usually have a much better (cuter) set up than this so look for it in the future.

I always seem to have many projects going on all at the same time.  So, in an attempt to organize my brain I have started making some schedules to help me.  Here is the first "rough drafts" - I'm sure I will be adding or changing them for a few days until I am happy with the way things are running.

I got the idea for this from Flylady.  I like the idea of splitting up cleaning tasks and so on, but Flylady is way too complicated for me.  Please be patient while I PERFECT and simplify.

"In the private sanctuary of one's own conscience lies that spirit, that determination to cast off the old person and to measure up to the stature of true potential."  Thomas S. Monson

This is my quote for the month that I'm going to read every morning.  Starting to work my way through the new personal progress with my sister I'm looking forward to strengthening my testimony and learning so much more about the gospel.  But I am starting here.  Leaving past failures and shortcomings there...in the past.  What a great new start!!!

The Beginning............

So, we are starting with the first value, Faith, in Personal Progress.  I have to have something to look at to keep me on track, I can't just keep it all in my head.  So, I made these first pages to start a Personal Progress binder.  I only have boys, but my SIS has a daughter, and we have 1 other niece in the family.  We are hoping these binders and our journals and testimonies will be useful and meaningful to them as they grow to do their own personal progress.
